The Eve Dining Range is one of our most popular dining ranges. Made from 100% solid tropical hard wood the stylish Eve range shows off why it is so popular. The natural colour of the Eve range means that it will match most kitchens and home decor.

The most striking part of the Eve range are the elongated backed chairs. The Eve dining chairs make the Eve range a beautiful piece to add to your home, a focal piece to the dining room.

The Eve range also has a sideboard available which makes your dining room something to be proud off. The sideboard enables you to have storage available in your dining room or kitchen to store away those important documants or to show off your ornaments and personal style on the generous sized top.

The wood used to make these pieces is usually called hevena wood (from it's botanical name Hevea Brasiliensis). Rubberwood or Malaysian hardwood and is used for manufacturing a wide range of products, including furniture and latex. Today Malaysia, Thailand and Indonesia produce the most natural rubber. The reason that rubberwood is so important to that lumber species is that after 25 years the latex production of the top of the trees drops. So, old trees are being harvested to renew the rubber forest and timber is then used to produce the furniture for the Eve Collection. Truly an enviromentally friendly species.

Hevena is a light hardwood which seasons to a pale cream colour. It's light colour allows it to be stained and finished according to requirements. It's readily available, has good properties and is not too expensive.
